Nigerian Army 87RRI Recruitment Requirements 2026/2027

General Eligibility

Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth

Must be medically, physically, and mentally fit
Must be of good character and not have any criminal record
Must not have been convicted by any court of law

Age Requirements

Non-Tradesmen: 18 – 22 years
Tradesmen/Women: 18 – 26 years

Educational Qualifications

Minimum of WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB
At least five (5) credits in not more than two sittings
Tradesmen/women must also possess Trade Test or City & Guilds Certificates

Physical Requirements

Minimum Height (Male): 1.68m
Minimum Height (Female): 1.65m

Certificate of state of origin
Educational certificates
Passport photographs
BVN printout
Evidence of professional or trade certification (where applicable)
